Not long ago I figured that blogging is an effective way to promote websites, wordpress based blogs are obvious and easy choice for me, as we all know that wordpress is perfect for casual as well as professional bloggers, together with Open Source License make the wordpress the most favored blogging kit around the globe.

After a while I believed that build my own blogs will be more beneficial, because then I can use established and fully owned blogs to advertise other websites, this is not something new, there are a lot of blog networks out there doing just that, the thing is that I don’t control those blogs, not to mention I can’t just post to them, obviously I will have to pay the owner to use their blogs, probably not cheap at all.

If you have tried to maintain a few different blogs you will know its not easy, if you want values for your blogs, to put real content on your site won’t be an easy job, remember real value is always difficult to achieve. There are some interesting examples, such as this one, Chain Hoist and Cable Puller, it’s name is pretty cute, and it has a lot of interesting posts, without a clear theme, almost any interesting posts get posted on it. Here is another one, Smart Phone, this is a themed blog, all posts are following the same theme, and ranks well for quite a few keywords. I can show you a lot more sites, but I believe you get the idea. One more important point, in your little net you should have some loose blogs, put some random content on those blogs occasionally, just like this blog, Professional Tie Downs, this will make a blog network more like naturally built blog groups.

After you successfully build a few blogs, add more blogs when you can, then use the established blogs to promote the new ones, get your own little blog network going is not that too difficult. This is just an idea, it won’t be easy to build even a tiny blogging network, follow the white hat tricks and ethic codes of online conduct you will be fine.
